Minori Osawa: "Survivor of the Sands" is a fictional character, based on the real-life friend of nixodemus1, and is a main character in TWTWE. She is a female, teenage, American (possibly of Asian descent) who lives in North Carolina. She is extremely quiet, supposedly because she is never thinking about anything.
Biography[]
Minori makes her first appearance on page 4, 10 minutes before the eclipse. She is with Keith, Alex, and Gen waiting for Nick to show up so they can play Quake 3. When they start arguing about where Nick is and weather they should start without him or not, she suggests that he may be watching the eclipse. After another moment of conversation, she opens the blinds and they look at the eclipse as the universe clock begins to chime.
At 12/12/12 12:12.12 PM she has a vision of the future. She comments that it was like living in a fortune cookie, and that her eyes exploded. She sees a Hell-Spawn and grabs a ruler to fight it with.
